I’ve been a whole foods, plant-based vegan for nearly 5 years now, but this is my first vegan pregnancy! Although I am not a professional, I have done extensive research and have educated myself on proper prenatal supplementation and nutrition. Many of these vitamins and supplements are not only beneficial for pregnant women and their developing babies, but for anyone and everyone, young or old, pregnant or not, vegan or not!
I hope you find some nuggets of wisdom, and that if you’re experiencing any morning sickness, nausea, heartburn, indigestion, leg cramps, etc, that some of these remedies will help you, as well!
Vitamins and supplements aside, the best thing you can do for your health, pregnant or not, is to eat a wide variety of whole, plant foods, as close to their natural state as possible!
